This programme taught me a clear and practical approach to tackling the APC exam. Even though this was my second attempt, I learned an incredible amount. I thoroughly enjoyed all the sessions and truly felt supported by a strong community throughout the journey. Being surrounded by others who were also repeating APC motivated me even more to write the exam again this year.
I am forever grateful to have found The Passing Mindset. I genuinely wish I had enrolled in this course during my first APC attempt, as it was the final missing piece I needed to feel fully prepared and confident going into the exam.

I loved Chris. Her technical knowledge is outstanding, but what really sets her apart is how she runs a class — firm, focused, yet full of humour. She keeps discipline without losing warmth and can laugh at herself and the moment. She shaped my mindset at a crucial stage of my CA(SA) journey. I use what she taught me daily as a CFO and throughout my APC exam this year. I can’t wait to send her that SAICA message.

The energy and enthusiasm of each session was so uplifting and motivating and the relevance of each session made it easy to comprehend and understand and I feel like I definitely was better prepared than the prior year just doing the board course because this course helped me more with technique and comprehending APC and how to approach it.

It was a great programme. I learned a lot from it, including things that were not covered in my board course. The motivation sessions, the sense of community, and the mentor I received were especially valuable.

It was a good quality course compared to other APC courses, it also covered aspects not covered in the board course itself such as time management

I found the script review session very beneficial and I felt like you had given my script time and saw what my issues are and provided me with ways of improvement.

The programme guided me perfectly to identify what I was missing the first time round and gave sound advice as to how to approach each topic, with the type of confidence that even if there was a massive curveball on the day, I was able to keep my wits and make it to the other side. One tip to the new members – Even if you are unsure, have a strong opinion supported through logical thinking.

Christin is a great presenter with solid knowledge. She makes the sessions interesting and she is relatable from rescuing a cat from her stove to explaining accounting implications of a lease. Well done!
